Backup, Backup and Backup

The power of backup must never be underestimated. So many times, and so many skins have been saved by the words:

BACKUP!

Specially for rural financial institutions where electricity is not very dependable and natural/man made disasters can strike at any time. You never know what might happen and the most cost effective way to manage data related risks is through backup. At the most basic level, backup must be integrated into core operations. It is with this rationale that the MBv8 System performs backup daily, integrated with minimal user interaction into the processing routines.

Backup is not a one time thing. This is a continuous activity, however boring or trivial it may be. Part of MBPhil maintenance services to clients is the checking of backup files. Also from time to time “Fire Drills” are also conducted to check client preparedness for emergencies. As the saying goes “An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure”
